Our Core Philosophy
Our country is fortunate to have so many dedicated people who care deeply about protecting children. However, even with all of the efforts directed at this problem, we do not have a viable and broad based solution.
We believe:
- That education begins with adults and continues with children.
- That families should have a current, clearly identifiable and easily accessible resource for information and prevention strategies.
- That there is some industry confusion about what educational materials and methods produce the desired results of less child victims.
- That there is abundant, current research to guide prevention in 2008.
It is time to gather the experts, unify the research, decide what information, and when families receive education and at last provide the best, most current, research and evidence based curriculum and educational system that families can depend on. We have listened to families and know of the devastating consequences if we do nothing.
