Welcome to 10-34 Wisconsin, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Childhood sexual abuse and exploitation in its many forms can be a difficult topic for many people to confront, but it is a problem both locally and across America that needs new proactive, and creative solutions. For today's families, navigating safely through the world means taking proactive measures. 10-34 Wisconsin (10-34) is dedicated to protecting youth from sexual abuse and exploitation whether encountered online or in person.
We serve families with a nurturing and empowering approach.
-Seminars for adults
-In the classroom for students
There are two major shortcomings in our society’s quest to prevent abuse including the lack of a unified prevention curriculum, and a distribution system to reach a broad base of people. 10-34 Wisconsin has two major goals.
-To provide an immediate prevention education resource to our community.
-To create a systemic change in the quality and availability of prevention
education and build a system of education.
We exist to bring solid solutions to an old problem by challenging current practices and serious oversights. It will take intelligence, leadership, resolve, and resources, but protecting the innocence of children will make our every effort worthwhile. Child sexual abuse and exploitation in its many forms is prevalent, secretive, devastating, and also preventable.
What does the name mean?
10-34 is an emergency code meaning
